Moments From the Cannes Film Festival as Told by Monsieur Doug
our computer
has been down and we have been really busy, so no one is able
to send pictures. i am at Canal + typing this, these guys are
the bomb! here is a diary from a couple of days, i am typing
so slow cos the keys are in different places here. it sucks
5-10
after a long hard day of flyering, the troma team went in search
of chasers for the vodka we packed. it was about 1 in the morning
, and as we passed the Martinez hotel, Heidi and I figured we
would find some in the hotel, i was wearing a blanket as a cape
cos we were headed to the beach to pass out in the sand. so
we entered into the middle of a ritzy party, people in tuxes
and cocktail dresses. we saw a beautiful pool in the middle
of al these people and just had to jump in, so we did. the concierge
was pretty pissed and chased us out of the hotel as we screamed
Troma at the top of our lungs: we went in to find chasers and
we came out soaked, the concierge chased us 5 blocks cursing
and screaming all the way, and he punched me in the chest and
tried to steal my blanket thinking i stole it from them. the
only reason i didnt do anything back was because i was not sure
of the concquences of pummeling a french asshole into the ground.
i have
many more stories, but i will stop now because this keyboard
is pissing me off and i am pretty drunk. i will tell all the
stories when i return i guess, here is a teaser

kicked off the red carpet, tried to sneak in the back and got
13 people stuck in an elevator for a half hour
5-12-Troma
overtakes the Jean Claude press confrence, 100`s of camreas
follow us for an hour, Van Damme shows up for 2 minutes on a
boat and runs away when the Toxic Avenger challanges him to
a fight. he doesnt even get on the pier.
ok gotta
go now, if i dont i wil destroy this keyboard. i have been typing
for an hour. al the numbers on it have to hold shift down or
you get this. this is 1-10 without shift.
