TROMA FOUNDS “DOGPILE 95 DOCTRINE” FOR PRODUCING FILMS INDEPENDENTLY

LLOYD KAUFMAN ANNOUNCES TODAY AT CANNES THAT TROMA WILL BE ACCEPTING FILMS FOR “DOGPILE 95 CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY”

Cannes- May 19^th- Today at Cannes, Lloyd Kaufman, president of Troma Entertainment and founder of the Dogpile 95 doctrine announced that Troma’s distribution department is now looking for films made under the Dogpile 95 doctrine*. Dogpile 95 is a doctrine in the spirit of Lars Von Trier’s Dogme 95. Kaufman says, “Long before Dogme 95 was born, Troma has been making movies with poor lighting, amateur acting and crappy sound. However, we just haven’t been able to rise to the level of boredom that the Dogme 95 films have attained. This is one of the reasons that Dogpile 95 has been founded.” Kaufman went on to say, “ Whereas Italian For Beginners is the typical Dogme 95 film, French Ticklers For Experts would be a typical Dogpile 95 film.**”

Whilst the Dogme 95 doctrine charges certification fees of up to 30,000 Denmark Kroners, the Dogpile 95 certification committee drinks up to 30 Kronenberg lagers while watching submissions. There is absolutely NO certification fee to get the Dogpile 95 Certificate of Authenticity. Any filmmakers who can conform to the Dogpile 95 “Bow-Wow-Vow of Chastity” are welcome to submit their film to the Dogpile 95 certification committee VIA:

Principal photography has been completed on the first Dogpile 95 feature film, Tales From The Crapper, which stars international superstar Julie Strain (Heavy Metal 2000, The Rowdy Girls). Tales From The Crapper also marks Troma’s first venture into Digital Video feature film production.
