STATES GOVERNMENT MONEY The
Ruining
WORLD PREMIERE AT CANNES
2004! The Ruining started off wrong. The original producer stole half the money leaving filmmaker Chris Burgard too low of a budget to complete the picture. Years later, a Vietnam veteran who received money from the US government - for illness due to chemical Agent Orange - donated his settlement moneyto complete this very disturbing movie; and got a part as an “Egg Addict”. It’s Erin Brockovich meets Class of Nuke’Em High!! In The Ruining, traditional family values are disturbingly challenged when two Los Angeles couples run into trouble on a remote mountain camping trip. Thirty years ago government drilling poisoned the water in a small town. Half of the town died. Those that are left are horribly addicted to psychedelic eggs bred by old Henry Behrens. When the strangers enter into his domain the stage is set for selective breeding and feeding of human flesh. Henry's 17-year-old daughter Becky is beautiful and thinks that she is a German shepherd.
